Update
I haven't had much time lately so I'm just going to go on a quick tour.
Dead Azaleas.
Not from heat or lack of rain but those evil azalea caterpillars
I talked about earlier this year.
There seems to be no stopping them now,
unless maybe I posion everything.
What hurts most are the new ones I planted.
You would think it would be easy to keep them off of these.
But they sneak in when I'm at work or overnight or something.
New favorite spot.
No Azaleas here.
Two kinds of gardenias
(they seem to love the weather),
Pink Pricess Philodendron in the urn,
an african iris that never bloomed,
and a stray sweet potato that somehow made it
outside to the ground
and is growing like mad.
OH!
I got a Leaf Eater.
This thing is great!
Its been chopping up my leaves into a fine powder.
I've just been putting it directly around the plants as a mulch.
Soon those leaf piles will be gone!
Starting Zinnia's from seed.
New bush, snowball Virburnum.
Where am I going to put this monster?
Probably where some azealas used to be!

I can't wait until it cools off around here and I can start planting for fall.
I planted some of those bulbs I order today. Do you think it was too early?
