Wilted Azaleas


This is how badly we need rain.
The old Indian Azaleas are wilting.
Everything is wilting.
We got a little bit of rain today at lunch.
(That is why I didn't get a closer shot of this...I didn't want to get hit by lightning)
It was good enough for today.
Now if we could just get that everyday.

Amy, I hope you get some real rain soon. That azalea looks just pitiful! We had an inch yesterday afternoon, which was tough on the people who were partying, but made it safer for everyone when the folks in our neighborhood brought out the fireworks.

You mentioned photos of the 'Acoma' crepe myrtle - there are now a couple on my page, including one okay closeup.
