Hi Amy,
I'm an Alabama transplant
( Jasper ) in Chicago. Just discovered your blog and find it inspirational, especially to see the beautiful azaleas blooming.
We've had a very cold April this year and probably won't see Azaleas or Rhodos for another few weeks.
Your posts have cheered up this winter weary gardener.
I too am a former Alabama (Tuscaloosa) girl now living in Indiana. There is nothing like spring in the south. I really miss the Azaleas. The soil here is too alkaline, so I never see them.
I just started a gardening blog, do you mind if I add you to my favorites?
It's very cold down here right now. Doesn't really feel very Southern...though we are suppose to be back to 80 by Wednesday. I hope all the plants make it.
Sure you can add me Robin,
as long as I can add you!
Pretty photos. I like ferns a lot but I don't see many here in D.C. I think it gets too hot here for them.
Hey - I am definitely delighted to discover this. cool job!
