I've tried growing several types of ferns, but they never make it. I guess it's too hot here, and I rarely water anything.
I found out what type of fern it is.
Its a "Resurrection Fern." Looks like they have 'em in Texas too.
Wikipedia says: "It has been estimated that these plants could go 100 years without water and still revive after a single soaking."
So this might be the fern for you! :)
My grandmother in GA calls them resurrection ferns, too. That's pretty amazing that they can go dormant so long!
